Hosted by: ICMA, NLC, NFBPA

Please join the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), and the National League of Cities (NLC) on August 7 at 3PM ET for a 60-minute introductory webinar on the Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (EJ TCTAC) Program. The Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the American Rescue Plan together represent the largest federal commitment in direct investment and tax incentives to energy security, clean energy, and environmental justice to date. Given that smaller and rural communities have limited capacity to apply for these programs, this webinar will highlight the EJ TCTAC program, which provides free technical assistance to help communities realize their environmental justice goals. First, participants will hear from two municipalities who have defined what environmental justice is in their own communities and developed creative partnerships to go after funding opportunities. Then, participants will hear about the EJ TCTAC program and other resources available to do this work.

Sponsored by the EJ TCTAC program.
